Water Hygiene Convenience

In late August 2022, WHC received a visit at their factory, by the Massmart Business Development Manager and Builders Warehouse buyer, in the quest to ensure that the WHC Leak-Less Valve is market ready for their stores

With the knowledge acquired from the JCCI GEAP, the WHC CEO (Paseka Lesolang) was able to reassure them of WHC’s export readiness as well, to their delight. In the week of the 19th of September 2022, the WHC CEO was invited to the Department of Water & Sanitation gathering of internal stakeholders, regarding the prospects of private sector’s collaboration in the quest to ensure South Africa’s water security.  The WHC CEO had the opportunity to meet both the deputy and minister of the department. In the following week of the 28th of September 2022, WHC was invited to exhibit and pitch its water conservation innovations at the Water Institute of South Africa (WISA) Biennial Conference. The Minister of Water & Sanitation was also there at the WISA Biennial Conference and was granted the opportunity see some of WHC’s innovations on display i.e. the WHC Leak-Less Valve.   On the 30th of September, WHC was granted the 1st prize of the EWSETA Water Innovation Awards. On the week of the 24th of October 2022, WHC was requested to sit on a panel at the UNISA Tedx conference to Green Innovation Investments panel discussion, to give insights, on how to structure finance better towards technologies that benefit the environment and society. This week (of the 11th of November 2022), the WHC CEO and Project Manager were at the Mokopane Community radio, to give context to the project that WHC is executing in the town of Mokopane and Polokwane city, in the Limpopo province, which will lead to substantial water saving and job creation of local members of the community; through the assembly plant and installation of the Leak-Less Valves in Limpopo.
