In 2019 Benice established her own company giving HR a seat at the table of SMMEs and entrepreneurs. DBD Solutions offers flexible HR solutions that fit the needs of SMMEs and entrepreneurs. So, the company connects people, mentors, and facilitates peer learning. A more recent success was SEFA approval of a R109 000 funding loan for Khayelitsha-based leather fashion and design business, Elisante Pty Ltd trading as Lindo Leather, in January 2021.
